From November 22 to December 20, 2019, we will be collecting donations to get new pajamas for children in our community who are going through difficult times.
We are on a mission to make the holidays cozy for children in need in our community, and give them the Christmas they deserve!
Santa’s Little Helpers
Each holiday season, Project Sweet Dreams partners with Northern Nevada Children’s Cancer Foundation, Safe Embrace, Domestic Violence Resource Center, Step 2, Volunteers of America Family Shelter, Planned Parenthood Teen Success Program, and Kids Kottage, Reno’s Emergency children’s shelter, to provide pajamas for the children that they serve.
This year, we will also be donating new pajamas to the Early Head Start Program and hope to make pajamas available to approximately 800 foster children in Washoe County.
Our goal is to raise $5,000 to give a new pair of pajamas to children in need in the Reno area.
With these funds, Project Sweet Dreams will buy new pajamas, wrap them up with love, add a gift tag with the child’s name and donate them to these organizations.
We Need You!
Our goal is very ambitious. In order to make it a reality, we are looking for 250 donors who can donate $20. Our target is to raise $5,000, which would allow us to give so many amazing kids a memorable Christmas.
